Melodi Powell

Melodi was born in Washington where she grew up on a farm in Black Diamond. Her career began in the veterinary field, but shifted after finding her interest the legal field.  Since then she has worked in multiple areas of law, including family law, civil law, personal injury, corporate law, real estate, wills & probates/guardianships, appellate practice, bankruptcy, and most recently criminal law. Among all these, Melodi’s passion is in family law, helping to create a relaxed and amicable atmosphere during what can often be a stressful period.

Outside of work, Melodi enjoys her time with her husband and two little boys, who she says are growing way too fast. She also enjoys singing and karaoke on the occasional date night, or relaxing with a good book. As a hobby she is a published author and hopes to write more books for adults and children in the future.
