Bio

Marissa has worked as a paralegal since 2015 and in doing so quickly found that family law is one of her passions. Working remotely over the last couple of years has given Marissa the opportunity to work in 12 states and learn how laws and regulations differ across the country.

Outside of work, Marissa enjoys spending as much time as she can with her son and daughter, as well as cooking, photography, creating digital content, and writing children’s books. It is her personal goal to end 2023 as a published author. Marissa also enjoys taking the time to volunteer with the Nashville Rescue Mission and Manna Café Ministries, as she holds a special place in her heart for the less fortunate.

Background

Marissa holds a BS in psychology from Middle Tennessee State University, an AS in paralegal studies from Everest University. She is also set to complete her MS in Child and Adolescent Psychology in June 2023. Her career path as a paralegal and her educational endeavors in psychology both speak to her true desire to help people through the emotional events in their lives.
