Bio

Josh is a Washington native and grew up in Spokane. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Arts English Language and Literature from Brigham Young University. He continued to live in Utah for five years teaching high school English and coaching the volleyball team, as volleyball is one of Josh’s passions. Seeing his father practice law inspired him to hang up his teaching hat and pursue a legal career. Law seemed like the perfect avenue to meet with clients, educate them on complex legal issues, and help them deal with the difficulty of it all.

When he’s not in the office, Josh spends his time playing volleyball and tennis. He and his wife recently took tennis lessons together and Josh feels confident he can play for years to come. Gardening is also relaxing for him; he has a community garden plot that he tends to. Some things on his bucket list include attending the Summer and Winter Olympics, writing a novel, going to culinary school, and planting 10,000 trees.

Background

Josh graduated from Texas A&M School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree. Josh has a long history of volunteering with organizations. Currently, he volunteers with the Clark County Volunteer Lawyers Program where he helps family law clients with the legal process. Josh is also on the WSBA Engagement Committee & Vice President of the Young Lawyer’s Society of the CCBA (Clark County Bar Association).
