When it comes to keeping the financial heartbeat of our firm steady, Michael is the one making sure every number falls perfectly into place. As our Accounting Assistant, he brings a problem-solving mindset, an empathetic approach, and a steady professionalism that helps our team, and our clients, feel confident and supported.

While Michael’s career is rooted in accounting, law runs in the family—literally. A close family member works in the legal field, sparking his connection to the profession. For him, family law may not be about court appearances or case files, but about ensuring the firm’s financial foundation is rock-solid so our attorneys can focus on helping families navigate life’s biggest challenges.

Michael grew up in California’s Bay Area and earned his education in accounting, but his first job was actually behind a camera as a theme park photographer. That love for photography stayed with him, he even spent time as a wedding photographer, capturing some of life’s most joyful (and occasionally chaotic) moments. These days, his creative energy also shows up under the hood, literally, where he enjoys building and restoring vintage engines.

Outside the office, you might find Michael coaching elite youth basketball, advocating to end food insecurity, or photographing the perfect sunset. His favorite quote by Tom Peters sums up his adaptable spirit: “Mastery is great, but even that is not enough. You have to be able to change course without a bead of sweat, or remorse.”

Whether he’s balancing books, mentoring athletes, or wrenching on classic cars, Michael approaches every challenge with precision, care, and just the right amount of humor, because in life, as in accounting, the right balance makes all the difference.
