Bio

Jenn has lived on the West Coast her whole life. She attended Willamette University for her undergrad, Master’s in Business Administration and Juris Doctorate (JD) Degree, moving to Seattle soon after to begin practicing law. At Truce,  Jenn is an advising attorney of counsel. Her years in law and confidence in court cases have given her exceptional knowledge over the years. Jenn advises our attorneys on challenges that may arise in client’s family law cases.

When Jenn’s not doing casework, she loves spending time with her rescue dog, Rosie and foster dog, Ginger, traveling for wine tastings and concerts, and hosting get-togethers with her friends.

Background

Jenn has been a licensed attorney in the state of Washington since 2001, and in Oregon since 2016. Her focus includes family law and criminal defense law, having over a decade of experience as a successful prosecuting attorney with the King County Prosecutor’s Office working on cases of domestic violence, sex offenses, child abuse and child molestation, drug, juvenile and violent crimes cases. Additionally, she has been an adjunct professor at the University of Washington School of Law since 2014, in addition to her time as prosecuting attorney and a pro tem judge.

She is currently involved in many volunteer projects; having worked with Dog Gone Seattle and Saving Great Animals since 2011 to give foster dogs a temporary home until they find their forever home. Jenn is also a member of the Board of Directors for A Child’s Notebook in Seattle, an organization to give children in Southeast Asia educational resources.
